Constant buzzing noise forward of driver seat

Thought this may help someone else. When the ignition key is turned on or coach started, there is a constant buzzing noise from what appeared to be under the driver side dash. The noise would not stop until the ignition key was turned off.

Turned out to be a vacuum leak under the hood on the firewall. There was a crack in the plastic elbow near the vacuum pump. This caused the vacuum pump to run constantly because the pump could not maintain pressure.

My 06 had the same problem with a short piece of rubber hose which had cracked. Took me a little bit to track down leak. I hear it is a common problemm

Never had that problem but often get an annoying sound or two from the passenger seat.
