does anyone know the location of the converter/charger on a 2000 34y , chieftan,,,,also on an upgrade is it only an R@R to install a trucharge 40+. MY winnebago dealer says he would have to get into it to find out, <for a charge> ya right,

Your converter is located to the left of your outside entertainment center. You'll have to remove the sheet metal cover.

Thanks Tom. it looks like its pretty straight fwd.,, just a basic r@r on the wires and mounting maybe a little diff. on mounting screws.... i belive the trucharge 40+ whould totally replace the old cheap factory converter charger,,, thanks for the link it helps alot.
