Hopefully, someone has an idea to solve this problem. I have a 2003 Brave, Model 32V. The brake lights and turn signals are the same filament.

When the 4 way flashers are activated, the cruise control will disengage since it uses the same circuit as the brake lights.

I use the flashers to thank trucks when they let me in after passing them. Its a real surprise the first time that you do that and the cruise control drops out. The truck can catch up with you real fast! Now its a pain to keep my foot on the accelerator and reset the cruise control.

Is there a way to use the center brake light to disengage the cruise control? That light does not come on except when the brake pedal is pushed. I can't figure out which wire controls it or where to access it.

Has anyone else tried this idea?

Thanks

W8RLM - Bob

Do you have a CCC switch on your dash that will only flash your running lights and leave the CC still ingaged.

Thanks for the responses. I don't have a button to flash the markers (ICC switch). I can and have rocked the light switch to flash the markers - parking light position).

I would like to be able to flash the 4 way flashers without disengaging the cruise. I'll look through the wiring diagrams and see if I can find a way. By the way, I contacted Workhorse, and they were no help at all.

Thanks again
