Finally after 6 months of phone calls the replacement cruise control switch and new fused wiring harnass is complete.
It took 1-1/2 hours of travel, 10 minutes of waiting and 6 minutes to install.
The long wait did not inconvenience us as we don't do any long distance travel in the Winter. We do take a 2 hour round trip exercize ride to a Super WalMart once a month, I can do that without cruise control.

Is the the original recall or the recall of the original recall fix? (Seems the original recall fix fused the ground rather than the hot side of the connection.)

I got mine fixed today...parts weren't in way back and then winter set in, so mine was fixed right the first time.

Chris,
I was not involved in the "original" recall but my weak memory says the fix was a fused pigtail. The fix I received included a new totally different looking pressure switch.
