All,
Been working through little issues with my (newly purchased) '01 Suncruiser, slowly chipping away at them one by one. So far, the one that is just a nagging issue that I have been unable to resolve is the CD changer. It doesn't power up at all, the changer itself, or the faceplate control device. It's the Sony 10 disc changer. I also have a Sony head unit which works fine.

I have traced the cables from the changer above the driver seat, into the TV bay where they loop back around and come down the driver side pillar. I lose them where they head under the dash. I went throught he fuses trying to find a bad one, no luck yet, but it seems like the more I look the more I find individual fuses scatered all over the front end.

Any ideas where I should start looking for power?

Thanks in advance,
Kev

It's been a loooong time since we used our CD changer, but I think it may work off the radio. I just can't remember and the RV is currently in storage.

My guess
I assume this is an aftermarket installation
Typically the fuse is located near to the umbilical cable connection at the main unit "Head unit". It is usually an inline fuse assembly. The umbilical cord is normally molded to a red power line w/ inline fuse and black ground wire.
Hope you find it ok
