Cummins Extended Warranty

I posted this on Diesel RV groups in Yahoo, but wanted to ask here as well.

I read a post with a reference to Cummins Emissions Compliance 2007. In traversing the Cummins website, I stumbled upon the warranty section for RV ISC engines.

There are 2 bulletins (3381368 and 3381367)that reference the "Cummins Extended Warranty" that extends the original warranty 2 years for many components. Mostly the iron and forged things (not the lift pump, seals or fuel pump).

I called my Cummins distributor who was quick to say that you had to buy this extended warranty in the first 180 days. Needless to say, I missed the mark.

My question....has anyone bought this extended warranty or even been offered it by Cummins?

NO...and I don't think anyone else I have talked to has, either!
Maybe we could do a class action suit...any attorneys who own a Cummins want to take that on??!
