The closets and cabinets in out bedroom slide 2003 38G are not heated or ventilated and we have a moisture problem. Has anyone had experience with providing ventilation to areas like this? I've thought of drilling holes in the bottom of the slide, from outside, and adding small vents like those ued on boats.
Thanks for your help.

Obviously, it's winter and if you are sleeping in your RV and especially with the windows closed, you will have a buildup of moisture from just breathing. You should crack open a roof vent and that should take care of your problem.
If it's too cold have a fan going on low and close vent until humidity builds up.

That's my two cents and worth every penney!

We've been running a 30 pint dehumidifier and two small Eva-dry dehumifiers for the past two months. The places with a problem are hidden behind a wall and the bed.
I put two buckets of Damprid in the drawers but that takes a lot of time to work.
We're trying.

Does the wall contain plumbing?
Is the shower or bath on the other side of wall?
Do you see any dripping or wetness underneath the coach, at the location of that wall area?

Thanks for your help. There is no plumbing in the area with a moisture problem.

Are you running the dehumidifier back in the areas where the moisture is the worst? We're also running a 30 pint one while on vacations and it only takes 2-4 days to drop the humidity down from 85/90% to 65/70%, then only have to run it every other day or so. Sure stops the moisture on the windows and on the ceiling above the shower.

We use a humidity gauge (don't know the scientific name for it) and by placing it around in different areas we can tell where the worst humidity is, the roll the dehumidifier to that area.

Good luck on your situation, it can really be problem when the coach has too much moisture in it.
