Recently, everytime I start my 2011 Vista 26P, a dry snow type discharge comes out of the chassis outlets. This started suddenly and the discharge is still present to a lesser degree. This discharge stops after the initial snowstorm. Any ideas? WBO sez they never heard of this.

I assuming you're referring to the air conditioning ceiling vents? Sounds like loose styrofoam beads in the a/c ducts, we had this problem in our old travel trailer, even years after we bought it I'd still find styrofoam beads laying around the trailer. Left over from construction/installation of the a/c outlets
Not sure how to fix this but maybe an electric leaf blower placed in one of the a/c vents would blow out the debris?

Thanks for your quick reply. No, this is not about the ceiling vents. It is about the dashboard/chassis a/c. The problem has be stumped. How could styrofoam invade the ducts, if that is what the material is?

Maybe mice? They could have been chewing and nesting in the system and now the fan is blowing the debris out? Just a guess.

I believe what you are experiencing is the grey ducting that goes to your defrost vents is letting the coating loose. Can't explain why it is doing it, but I have seen it on a couple of units.

I have had the same wonderful shower of "white stuff". It looks like micro versions of the Styrofoam beads. Settles everywhere, vacs up pretty easy. After the initial surge there does not appear to be much more coming out of the vents. I assumed it was some kind of construction debris. Is this something to be concerned about?
