Dash air problem?

I have a 2001 adventurer. I purchased the rig last fall. The dash air didn't work. The dealer, Colton RV in Buffalo NY, replaced the compressor in December. I didn't really try it at the time because it was cold. This spring I tried it and it didn't work. So..take it back till August when I had a breakdown. I asked them to look at the air again at that time. They said that they charged it again and added dye. It did not work. I was heading on a trip and didn't take it back.
I now have at Camping World in Syracuse for service and asked them to check the air. I told them what Colton did. They said there was no freon in it at all and no sign of any dye anywhere. They charged it and added dye. They ran it and sniffed for leaks and for any dye. No leaks at all. It currently is working.
My question is...is it possible that there was no sign of dye at all when CW checked it yesterday? They said that there should have been dye evident. If it was indeed put in and charged by Colton in August, it completely leaked out.

That's a tough one to answer. Some leaks are hard to find as they can be in the evaporator and you have to take the heater box apart to check them. if they did all that good luck and I hope they find it. AC leaks can drive a guy crazy at times. Jim

I totally agree with what is mentioned here. These leaks can drive a guy nuts at times. Hope it all works out. Good Luck!!!
