Dash Blower 30 amp fuse opening

New to us, 2003 Itasca Suncruiser 31Y, working out issues as we find them, dash blower high speed didn't work, traced it down to an open 30 amp blower fuse. Replaced it and things worked well for a while. High speed went away again, lower speeds work fine. As soon as I inserted the new fuse, it opened with a noticeable pop. Relay was out of the circuit at the time. Advice anyone? BTW, having real issues finding the complete wiring diagram to troubleshoot with. Thanks!

rvdesertrat-

First off, welcome to iRV2!

Second, you should add a signature to your user profile. A signature gets added to each of your posts. Most folks include information about their coaches. It saves you having to type that info over and over. Instructions for adding a signature are here.

Winnebago provides wiring diagrams through this link:

Wiring Diagrams

The diagrams for your coach are here:

2003 Adventurer Suncruiser 31Y Wiring Diagram Book

Winnebago provides diagrams for the systems it has built into the coach. As you work through the diagrams you may find places where they show connections to the chassis wiring. To go upstream from there you will need the chassis manufacturer's wiring diagrams. In your coach's case, that would be Ford.

Winnie also provides much useful info via this link:

Are you referring to the toggle switch on the dash that operates the blower fan speed for the Coach Heater (blows through the floor vents...same ones used for the propane furnace) OR the dash heater which blows through the vents in the dash, like you have in a car.

Will advise after you answer.

Thanks for replying folks, my problem is with the circuitry for the dash vent/air system. High speed never worked when we bought the coach. Replaced the resister pack and the dash switch. Still no high speed. Found info online about the relay used for the high speed setting. Relay appears to work fine, speeds 1,2,3 all work, just not 4 (high). The internal dropping resistor appears good inside the relay. Seems to be a short to ground in the line from the load side of the fuse to the relay.
