I agree, remounting the shades is a pain until you get the clamp in the center to catch.
If you have to restring another shade, make sure the the little plastic bushings at each of the holes that the strings pass through - particularily in the center divider between day and night shades are in place. That's the biggest strain point where the strings can break. The bushings are to protect the string from the metal holes and the burrs that weren't removed. The last one that I did, I put the bushings in from the bottom of the metal and super glued them in place. That gives a bigger plastic shoulder to protect the string.
Hope you have restrung your last shade.
