I am about to replace my deep cycle batteries.I currently have two Trojan 233 Lifetime, 24 TMX - 120 units that are original equipment. Any suggestions as what Brand and or type to replace with? It is a very confusing market when you have a limited knowledge base on this task. Thanks.

When it is time to replace my batteries I am going with 2 6V Trojan 125. That is what I had in my old Bounder and I always had power to spare.

My thoughts would be to replace them with the same thing, as long as you've been satisfied with their past performance (up until lately of course). I can vouch for Interstate 12v deep cycles; they've been the best 12v batteries I've found. Performed well and lasted 5 years.

If you don't have 6 volt batteries now, I strongly recommend them. We finally had to replace our 12 volt Interstates and I went with the Interstate 6 volt.
I would have used Trojan 6 volts if I could have found them at the time. I understand the Trojan heavy duty(golf cart?) one is excellent, but I could not locate them when mine died and we were on the road so I went with the Interstate ones from CW.
We will overnight at truckstops or Walmarts if we are just passing through and we normally are parked by 4 pm. The 6 volt models we put in give us power to run the PC, reading lights, and the furnace fan. We usually read until 10PM and then the furnace runs all night if it is cold. The 6 volt arrangement has considerbly more reserve than the 12 volt arrangement.
The 6 volt ones are a tad taller, so check for clearance. Mine was not a problem. We used a coupler nut and a short piece of threaed rod to extend the hold down clamps. All available at hardware stores.
Well worth the trouble and the batteries cost about the same as good 12 volt deep cycle ones.
Good luck.

I would replace with two Group 27 Trojan 12 volt batteries. More capacity than Group 24 and no wireing changes.
