I purchased a handheld pcm programmer this past weekend at a Winnebago State Rally and the gentleman giving th erpesentation stated the OBDii port is within 26" from the driver's seat - by law. I don't whent his law was enacted so it might be different for your coach.

It took me about 5 minutes to find mine, hope you have an easier time!!!

You may be looking for something that isn't there. The wide spread implementation of on board diagnostics did not happen until 1996 when the OBD-2 scheme was implemented. Some vehicles had OBD-1 or a manufacturer proprietary diagnostic capability prior to that date so you might want to actually confirm that your vehicle has one. I would suspect the early ports are more likely to be near the engine than the driver's seat inside.
