My movin view satelite has been trouble free until yesterday. When I turned the switch on to acitvate the system (witch I just used two days prior)I noticed the little green lighted switch was not working, but I still heard the sat system moving to locate signal. After about 20 minutes with no signal I did a switch search test and came up with no switch box found and all xxxx's. So I check wire conections , Made sure my last bill was paid , Checked for any exterior obstructions Pulled the sat card and reinserted it at least 3 times so could the little green light have any thing to do with it or any Ideas befor I spend 2 hours waitng for phone help from dish!!!

Thanks in advance!

Check the coax connection between the satellite receiver & wall plate. Mine came loose last year on the way to GNR & drove me crazy.

When you call Dish they always ask you to check the connection on the back of the receiver but they don't ask you to check the other end.

I think road vibration did it.

My system did the same thing yesterday. Called the Co. and they had me do a reboot, hold button ten seconds until system light went off and back on. Took a few minutes for the sat to find stations and I was back in business. This was a widespread problem, think someone at Dish hit the wrong button causing a massive reboot.
