Having a time each time we use jacks to level. Thought we had "automatic" system but nothing seems automatic. No "auto" or "level" button. Just "Dump" and "Store" and then the arrows on each jack. First we dump air, then have to press each jack arrow to bring jack down.

Am I missing something? And what is the best process to level. We have a Journey 36SE.

Sounds like you have the "325" manual system. It's a very good system, just not automatic. Probably was a money saving issue for the SE model. The 325 was the standard system for Journeys until some time in '04. Mine is an early '04 and has the 325 system. I have seen later built '04s that have the 625 (auto) system or maybe it was an option in '04.

Your HWH manual should have the leveling procedure. If you didn't get the manual, call or visit the HWH website and download a copy. The basics are to level side-to-side first, then front-to-back. If any jacks are still retracted after you've leveled, use the appropriate front-to-back leveling button to extend that jack for stability.

If you go to the Winnebago Industries site you'll see that Automatic Leveling was an option on all Journeys in 2006.

Here's a link to the 2006 journey brochure: http://www.winnebagoind.com/products/previous-models/20...o/06-Journey-bro.pdf

Send a message via ICQ to W8RLM
flashajt,

To activate the auto leveling system on my 06 Journey, you press the button that turns on the system TWICE. It then dumps the air and activates the jacks. It will level front to back first then side to side.

Make sure that you press the on button TWICE. If it doesn't activate then you have the manual system or the sutomatic feature isn't working.

To confirm what you have, you can call Owner Relations at Winnebago with your VIN number and they can confirm what was installed on the coach.

Good Luck.
