Doghouse REMOVAL ????

I found and removed the screws in the sides near the front at floor level and cannot find any others. Still cannot get the cover to budge. How do I lift and remove this engine access cover inside the coach. See signature. Thanks.

THANKS, Clifftall
That is exactly the info I needed. FYI, I used the forum search function and entered "doghouse removal" but it returned "no results found". I tried other terminology, with like results. Maybe the iRV2.com iPhone app doesn't work too well for searches ???

Again, THANK YOU for thinking to search here via google, that did not occur to me.

You're welcome Ed.
I don't use the app for searches. I go to safari and use feature.

On my Brave I had 4 screws, 2 by the floor and 2 along the top. the top were in about 3 inches.
Someone told me to try a magnet and slide along the carpet but never did that.
Good Luck

Having finally found the rear doghouse "hold down", I want to tell others who may need to know that it is located slightly offset from the centerline towards the passenger side and about 3" forward of the rearmost portion of the cover. Inserting a 5/16 Allen wrench vertically into the hole(hidden by shag carpet) and turning it counter-clockwise did the trick. In addition, the cover needs to be raised slightly at the rear and pulled away from the front to clear a hidden bracket at the top center (front). All of this is after removing the screw at floor level on each side near the front of the cover.

Thanks again To Cliff who found the thread containing pictures of the cover removed, because without that I might still be struggling to remove mine.
