I had posted on this a while back, here is an update.

With the help of another member here we had some of these door stops fabricated. I have had the plans for several months.

I installed the stop a bit lower than I had planned due to the lack of structure higher up on the door frame. Where it is attached there is some pretty beefy structure. The door does stop positively when it hits the stop with nothing flexing.

I will most likely paint it to match when I get to a town that can mix some paint for me.

Here are some pictures.

I really like your door stop. If you don't mine I beleive I will use you design.I have a place that I get my touch up paint from automotivetouchup.com. They have it in a spray can. You can get the paint that mactches your coach in a spray can and a can of clear. I have used them for awhile now and they have macthed my coach color every time. I like the spray can. They show automoble paint but if you call them with your paint color and number and coach brand they can match it. I have a can for every color on my coach. Again great job

Thanks for the link Randy. I will contact them and see if they can use the paint code we have.

Use the design if you like. I can see if I can get you the phone # of the machine shop that made ours. Let me know.

Jim

Very nicely done. Is there no stop standard on a Vectra?

There is a stop in the door but it is not very strong.

Jim and Sue, great job on the door stop. I missed the original posting and appreciate you bringing it back for a replay. Good job.
