Has always been a bit 'tough' to unlock from the inside. Now it's impossible! We've resorted to using the button by the driver's seat or the remote. PITA

Has anyone ever had this interesting situation? Any tips are appreciated!

Hate to think what would happen if we were ever in a big hurry to get out...

Thanks..

Please rephrase your question as don't know what you can't unlock.

It sounds like entrance door but not sure but I'm sure someone has the answer.

Rose,
I had the same problem in my 05 Suncruiser. The latch was loose and slide down. With door open (so you are outside)use a tork screwdriver and loosen the two screws on the inside of the door. Pull up just slightly on the handle and retighten the screws. (Traveling down the road probably just bumped the latch downward).
I hope this helps.

Rose,

I just solved this problem. There is a definite design flaw with the lock.

The bottom door lock, the one with the red cover would lock easily, but I couldn't unlock it from the inside manually. Yet with the electric door opener, and the key from the outside, it would work fine.

I thought at first it was just some metal binding, so I tried to spray some lube but it didn't work.

So I took the whole door panel off and found the small shaft link that connects the lock button to the electric solenoid would flex down and bind rather than slide back and forth like it was supposed to.

The fix is easy. I drilled a small hole just under the shaft link, screwed in a screw and on the other side of the hole, the screw screwed into a cut down plastic wall insert.

The screw/plastic insert provides a little support to the shaft link and prevents it from sliding down to where it binds. The lock button now sides open and closed with ease.

Best Regards!

Thanks all. When we get to Moab tomorrow, we may have some time to take a look at it. At least now we know what/where to look.
