On a 2004 Meridian/Journey, does anyone know what holds the DVD/VCR in place on the shelf below the selector box? It looks like there might just be velcro pads under each of the feet, but its hard to tell and if that's what's holding it, it sure is solid. I've put quite a bit of pressure on the unit and it still won't lift up. Don't want to tear up something.

Mine is velcro too. Just slip something like a paint scraper under the VCR near the edge and apply steady upward pressure. It should pop off.

Thanks. It must be really heavy duty velcro, but now that I know what it is I think I can get it to give.
