Anyone have experience programming the EC-30 in a 2004 Adventurer 37B? What appears in the EC-30 window seems to be difference than the choices on the instruction sheet I got. Dealers mostly don't know the product exists much less have knowledge of how to program it. I had it installed at the Cummins facility in Eugene, OR in August, and I have been trying to get it to work ever since. Now I am in Wisconsin.
I would like to turn it on automatic and then have it start and stop generator based on voltage set point and temp set point. Thanks for any help.

Try posting on RV.NET. Can't help you with EC-30 other than that

I have the EC30 and very pleased with it. I would not recommend changing the factory default settings for voltage--those default settings should work fine. I am not aware of a temperature setting on the EC30---the temperature is set at your thermostat and when air is called for it sends a signal to the EC30 to start the gen. Just make sure you have the EC30 on "AUTO" or "QUITE". If you have it on "QUITE" it will not start the gen. during the hours that are set for quite time----again the default times are fine.
If a Cummins dealer installed the unit I would stop at any Cummins dealer in route---they should take care of any problems you may have.

I got a lot of good advice from Cummins when I installed mine. I called the number on the data sheet & talked to John. He is (or was at the time) the tech trainer for the EC30. I'll see if I can find his email in my black box in the coach.
To put system in auto you press auto & then press enter. This is a fail safe to prevent putting in auto by accident. Once in auto, turn on AC & lower temp below room level. Gen should start.
You will not be able to put system in auto if it has not received a safety signal within the past 30 days. My safety signal is activated whenever I turn on or off the ignition. You may have to activate the safety feature to initialize the system. This should be explained in the instructions.
Hope this helps.
