Electric heat+ gas heat on

2007 Suncruised I turn thermostat to electric heat and gas furnace also comes on plus on electric heat cycle is short without reaching desired temp. Outside temp was mid 50. If memory serves me right it seems that late last summer a/c cycle was short.

If you set your thermostat to more than 3-4 degrees above the temperature in the coach, your gas heat will come on to "help" the electric heat reach temperature faster. Completely normal.
