We went to the Pomona RV Show today and almost ordered a new Suncruiser from Mike Thompson RV. We're seriously considering going back tomorrow and ordering it. One concern is the electric slides. The coach we test drove had very noisey electric slides. Our 2003 Winnie Brave has nice, quiet HWH slides. Any feedback on electric slides would be appreciated. Are they as reliable as HWH? Thanks in advance,

I have them on my coach. This is my first year with them but no complaints so far - they seem to work very well.

Had the HWH on the '01 35U and have the Kwikee on the 08 Sightseer. For no good reason, I liked the HWH but the electric have given us no reason to not like them So, I guess, we like both. Not a deal breaker, either way, IMHO.

Thanks for your replys. I guess there's no reason to be concerned about an electric slide. If we order a coach we'll make sure the slides work and sound ok.

I have the Kwikee Digisync electric. Had a small problem where the slide would not extend unless someone pushed on it while I held the button. A socket wrench and a beer and I had the slide adjusted myself. Other than that it has been fine.

I've had 2 different kinds of electric as well as hydraulic. The one I like the least is the one that's on our View (don't know the manufacturer). It reminds me of a climbing roller coaster in operation - but seems to work fine. I prefer hydraulic, but it's not a deal breaker.
