Electrical Navion HELPPPPPP

We are newbie campers. 2017 Navion J two months old. 5th day out on our two month trip. We are at a campsite with NO electric. Wife plugged her electric cooker into the inverter GFI to cook outside. We did not have the generator on. It killed all power in the unit immediatley. I turned the generator on, plugged her extension cord into the GFI near the floor/fridge and she was able to cook.

Now most of the outlets in the unit are non functional with the generator off. Even the ones that worked before. I tried to reset the GFI at the inverter but it wont power up. I saw there was what looked like a reset on the rear side of the inverter but pushing it did not help.

I dont have a checker to check the fuses. Looked at the panel under the bed and looks like all breakers are ok, but cant check fuses. Looked at the panel under pass seat and they seem ok, but cant check fuses. We do have factory solar.

Any help would be greatly appreiciated. This is my first post.

thanks, jeff

Welcome to iRV2.

Sorry you're here with problems .
Could you add the inverter make and model info to your post , it could help get more/better answers.
Some times a complete disconnect of the inverter is required , removal of the cables from the coach battery.
Check to see if any 12 volt items in the coach are working ( lights ) if there is no 12 volt inside the coach , it is very possible that there is a master fuse or circuit breaker between the batteries and the inverter, that needs to be reset or replaced.
Is there anyone close by that might loan you a test light or a multi-meter?

Sounds like the cooker was over 1000 watts. Note, not all outlets work off the inverter. Specifically, the ones near the sinks won't work without 30 amp service or running the generator. Hope this may provide some help!

jlshank, on your coach the 1000W inverter only supplies 4 outlets.
There is a fuse in the battery compartment that supplies 12VDC to the inverter.
Are you getting any codes on the inverter remote panel?
