Got our motorhome back from its first trip to a service center and not real happy. Itasca Sunova 35J still under warranty and have no nearly zero issues with it.
First problem was that they didn't even look at three of the six issues (all pretty minor) and now that I've picked it up the TVs won't work. Actually the front TV will work but only if I run an extension cord to another outlet. So, the problem appears to be with the 110v outlets (both of them inside the front cabinet). I can't unplug the rear TV without removing the molding and the TV itself, so I didn't mess with that just yet. Everything else in the coach appears to be working fine. I also tested all the other 110v outlets and all work. I looked for a tripped fuse but none were tripped. The service guys did do some electrical work, but only 12v stuff (replaced the monitor for the backup/side cameras and one outside 12v lite that didn't work, but no other electrical systems were to be worked on.
Yes, I know I could take it back to the shop, but definitely will NEVER visit the same place again. Also, the logistics behind taking our coach to a dealer isn't always easy, as you all know. I will be discussing the shoddy workmanship and incompleted work with Winnebago.
I have looked at the wiring schematics, but didn't see anything that would lead me to one fuse or connection that would affect both TV outlets.
Any ideas? Appreciate any advice.

Check your inverter. See if that breaker tripped.

In mine (2004 Sightseer 35N)the overhead inverter is plugged in to the receptacle in the right overhead. The TV & VCR/DVD are plugged into the inverter. The inverter has: off/on sw./circuit breaker/GFCI any of these could cut off power from the inverter.
As Donavon P Kelly said check the circuit breaker & also check the GFCI on the inverter.
(mine is just a GFCI no receptacle). The rear TV circuit may also be protected by a different GFCI receptacle somewhere else in your coach. Also try checking all GFCI receptacles.
Good Luck.

I feel for you. Nothing is more irritating then taking your rig in for service/repairs and getting it back worse than when it went in. I would be sure and fill out your experiance at this website to let others know where not to go. http://www.rvservicereviews.com/ If your rig is on a WorkHorse chassis and the work was done at a WH service center, go here http://www.workhorse.com/Default.aspx?tabid=185 and let them know of your dissatisfaction. I would also request to speak with the owner of the dealership and let him know about his companies quality of service or lack of.

Eric...as you know from all the PM's we have exchanged on the inverter, I'm VERY familiar with that circuit .
All the stuff you mentioned is on the same circuit: the plug for the forward TV, the plug next to the co-pilot seat; the bunk plugs, the plug in the closet, and the plug under the rear TV. That entire circuit is "rectified"...ie. the rectifier powers that circuit when no shore power. The breaker under the fridge is "Recep 2" (or may "3"...I forget now)
As others have said, it has to be inverter related with a GFIC trip most likely. Study that panel next to your door and look for something tripped, esp GFIC. An outlier might be the TV switches up front and in the bunks, but that would be very coincidental for all 3 to be off.
Let us know what you find please so we can learn from you. Steve

The term is "inverted". an inverter coverts DC to AC, a rectifier converts AC to DC. The inverter powers the Entertainment Devices from the battery by converting the battery 12 VDC to 120 AC. The converter rectifies 120 VAC to charge the batteries.

Thanks everybody. I think the problem somehow worked itself out... which does cause me a little concern. I had checked every plug-in throughout the coach and the only 3 that didn't work was the rear TV and the two inside the overhead storage above the co-pilot seat where the TV is normally plugged in. The external plug over the co-pilot seat by the windshield worked fine as did all the others. I had also checked every circuit breaker in the coach (including the inverter) and the ones outside by the propane tank.
I decided to take a break from reading and attempting to get it fixed and decided to exercise the generator since its monthly was due. After starting the generator I noticed the power light was lit on the front TV. Tested both TVs with generator on and then with the generator off and both worked.
Go figure. Thanks again for all the assist and if things change or other weirdness happens I'll everybody know.
Needless to say, I won't even entertain going back to the same dealer for any work and will make a visit to rvservicereviews.com to at least discuss the dealer's failure to check 3 of the 6 items requested when I left them my coach.
