Electrical Receptical

In the bay where shore power comes in next to phone and tv jacks, I have a recepticle with a wire plugged in. Only top of dual recepticle allows plug, bottom is blocked off. Parked using shore power I have no amps/volts there. Anyone have any ideas ?

I believe that is your engine preheat receptical. The switch is probably somewhere in the front overhead cabinets and is activated by that switch.

Its the engine heater, you will not get any amp draw until you turn on the switch on your wall it should be next to or near the electric hot water heater switch. If you get no amp draw usually around 8-10 amps when the switch is turned on check for break in the wire in the receptacle or a bad receptacle.

As others have said , it's the block heater. I believe that the switch on your unit is above the monitor panel, next to the electric water heater switch.
