I have a 2009 Tour and the amp load mete on the EMS panel has stopped displaying. Any ideas as to what might be the problem or a possible fix?

are you pluged into a 50 amp outlet? It only shows when plugged into 30 amp or below or on the generator. Other than that??

It's working right. I'm on 50 amp hookup now and no amp reading, just 4 green lights.

Everyone's comments are correct about the 50 amp connection not showing ampere draw. I don' t know how old your EMS panel is, but Intellitec had some problems with the 2004 version (found on the P.C. board). They used surface mount resistors (very small components soldered to the PC board) to detect the voltage on both L1 and L2 which would show the 50 amp connection. On some of these boards, the resistors burned out. I replaced mine after they failed with the 2008 version of the board, and they had switched to a larger set of resistors to handle the heat and made some other modifications including mounting a capacitor on the PC board that they had glued to the older board.

The sympton was that the display would not acknowledge the 50 amp connection and would continue to show 30 amps and the ampere draw would continue to display a value, but it would be incorrect.

Replacing the board is not too difficult. Winnebago used one white wire (neutral) and five plain black wires o my 2006 Journey. I got some wire labels and numbered the black leads before I disconnected them. The wires are solid copper, and I used needle nose pliers to insert them in the new PC board before I reinserted the board. I also plugged in the three harnesses on the other side before remounting the assembly. THey are keyed, so they cannot be connected incorrectly. The entire assembly snaps into position. MAKE SURE THAT ALL OF THE AC IS TURNED OFF - INCLUDING THE GENERATOR AND THE COACH BATTERIES ARE TURNED OFF. A flashlightor or a trouble light plugged into an outlet outside the MH is probably needed.

The entire changeout took me about 30 minutes - mostly handling the solid copper wires. Intellitec makes an excellent product - the resistors were probably the only weak point in the design.
