Engine Coach Heater

Hello All, my coach heater from the engine( not the dash) is making a loud noise. The only way I can see to get to the core and fan is by removing the water heater to access the coach heater which sit behind the water heater. Any info would be helpful.

Unfortunately on most models that is the fact. Others have an inspection plate in the floor for access. Mine did not. Removing the W/H is not a really big deal, but it is best done by a technician. The engine floor heater works so well, it is worth fixing. It was just a lousy design on the blower.

When we had our 35U the blower started making noise with reduced speed and of course reduced output. I was able to get limited access from the storage compartment enough to get a spray can of wd40 to the fan blower. It helped but the best resort is replacement. Quite surprised that Winni may still be using this motor/fan configuration.
