This may be preaching to the choir or stating the obvious but I believe too many of us need to spend more time learning how to use the entertainment systems in our coaches before we ever leave the dealer's lot. When I picked up my coach the dealer had a rep who's job it was to explain everything in the coach to us. He did an excellent job of that spending over three hours and he truly knew the systems. Included in his tutorial was the operation of the TV, VCR, DVD and CD players and the multiple remotes. I thought that I had it wired. I "assumed" the owner's manuals would answer any questions I had down the road. What a fool I was. The "normal" systems, frig, propane, elec, water, etc. were no problem. However, it took at least two years to truly get a handle on the entire entertainment system which is not like your coach or the same model the previous year or the following year. The next time I get a coach I am not leaving the dealer lot until I have a firm understanding of the entire entertainment system. They may get tired of my questions but that is their job. The factory puts all of this stuff together. I would only hope that someone then has a handle on the proper operation of the systems. Maybe the best option is to take a teenager with me.

That works great as long as your ready to watch what she wants. She has help other RVers out with there TV. The funny thing is that it's the guys. We can do alot of things, but when it comes to pushing the button our brain done get it. Are maybe it's because we done read instructions.
