Entry Door Cornice Removal

Hello

I was hoping someone could tell me the proper steps to remove the entry door cornice. Also, the shade doesn't pull up very well anymore, so can the shade spring be adjusted or do I simply replace the entire door shade?

Thank you. -RT

Sometimes the screws are very well hidden in the upholstery. You can use a magnet to find them.

If you take down the door shade, it will be apparent and easy to put a few more winds on the spring. Just don't get it moving too fast up, like I did!
