Equinox Fuse 32

I tow a 2015 Equinox, and I added an in-line fuse with switch to eliminate pulling fuse 32 (Discrete Ignition Logic) every time I'm on the road. After driving car for a couple of weeks since returning from last trip, I noticed switch was in 'off' position. I did not notice anything different - odometer registers, trans goes into park OK, key can be removed,... Owners manual says to pull this fuse to prevent battery drainage. Does anyone know what items are fed by fuse 32, Discrete Ignition Logic?

We tow the 2013 Eq and I made an inline switch like you. If I leave the switch off I can't get the key out of the ignition. I can start, shift etc but don't get any mileage on the odo. I have never tried to insert a key or start it with the fuse in the off position. Not sure what would happen in that case.
