The weather here in the northeast has been spectacular this November and now into December. It was partly sunny and reached 60F today.
So I took the coach out of hibernation to exercise it today. Perfect day to do so.
I drove it about 40 miles, getting the engine temp up over 180F and the Allison up over 140F - what's recommended to get the mositure out of the systems. Fueled it back up (paid $4.09) and put it back into the barn, after giving the floor one last sweep. Also ran the generator with the heat pump running, for about an hour. All systems exercised and ready for (most likely) an extended nap.
Coach won't get out again until March at the earliest, with it's nose pointed south to warmer weather.
P.S. It ran like a top.

Very good. I just did mine yesterday. We are also have descent weather for this time of year. Once it gets real bad outside and they start spreading salt, the MH will sit until warmer weather.

Smart move boys.
If more people would set up some sort of routine like that, I think there would be way less problems with some of the mechanical stuff. It cost's a few bucks to do that but, (in terms of using precious diesel fuel) but, in the long run, it's way better and, you may find things that need to be fixed during the winter hibernation.

We run our's at least once a month even during its winter hibernation. We take it to 'town' for some shopping (plenty of space to park at the malls). Like me, the coach needs some exercise or it gets too stiff and useless .
