Factory repairs
Hello all, has anyone gone to the Winnebago factory for repairs? Without an appointment? My CSR from Winnebago, Troy, advises me to come to the factory for warranty repairs as I have multiple issues both large and small. The appointments are out into Sept.,Oct. but he says that they also have a sign up sheet system for people who show up without an appointment. I am out in Cody WY. and will stop on the way home as I am fed up with all of the issues my 2014 Adventurer 37F continues to have and want to be done with them once and for all. Did you have a good experience or bad. Finally done right or still have the same issues? Tips or tricks you can pass along??
Thanks
Ray

Last June I was there, with an appointment, for 3 days. During that time they worked those without an appointment in very effectively. You will have no problems getting your repairs completed. Try and stay away during and after the big yearly WIT rally.

You can certainly show up without an appointment. As far as I know all appointments are set for Mondays. Some are finished the same day while others may take several days to complete.
If you show up on a Monday you'll be asked to sign up in a line different from those that have made appointments. You will be accommodated after everyone with an appointment is in the shop. Generally it will be Tuesday or Wednesday before your coach enters the shop. If you can afford to wait you will be well taken care of.
We have had both our 2001 and our 2013 Adventurers to the factory for service by appointment. The service is excellent. They have top quality technicians and competitive prices. They will review all the problems with you and give you an accurate estimate of time to complete and cost. If your coach is still under warranty there shouldn't be any charge.
Personally we wouldn't take our coach anywhere else for service. They have all the parts in stock and the best trained technicians in the system. If I can't do the work myself it goes to Forest City without question.

We were there in Sept. Of 13& 14,with appointments. All that was fixed by them is still working. They were 6-7 weeks out then. Called awhile back and it was 10-12 weeks out. The people with out appointment usuall got in ,like they said. Tues or wed. If the problems were not serious. They have a system that works. Would highly recommend.

Been there with and without an appointment. Appointment services were initiated as scheduled, two different occasions. "Walk-in" was handled on first come first served basis. One time we just needed something minor to be checked, they accommodated us within an hour. The other time, we had to wait until the next day to get into the shop, we stayed overnight in the electrical hookup area of the GNR campground across the street.

The factory treats you great. They want you happy when you leave and will make sure that it happens. Happy customers are the best form of advertisement and make for repeat customers and Winnebago knows that. My advice (from being there with an appointment) is to relax, sit back and enjoy it.
They exceeded my expectations on the Power Gear slideout gear replacement that I needed. They replaced the whole slideout arm, including the motor and wiring harness. Not a problem since.
