Was just curious as to how far in advance do you need to book factory service. I would imagine waiting time would be longer in the fall and spring when the snow birds are making there yearly treks south and back home.

Thanks Trap

What brand RV do you have?

Not all factory's are the same along with the fact that many are gone now.

As R2D2 said "More Data!"

Since you posted this in the Winnebago Owners Forum I assume you own a Winnie.

I was there in August and they were booked out at least 5 weeks. You really have two options:

1) Call well ahead of time and work your travel around the appointment you get...

2) Just show up the day before and get your name on the list. In most cases they will be able to get you in the next day some time. I think worst case is two days. BUT, there are some limitations to this approach. They will not do work under an extended warranty if you don't have an appointment. You also may get your coach in late in the morning and have to return the next day (or two) to get your work completed.

Either way give them a call. It's certainly worth the trip. I'd recommend camping on the Rally Grounds. It's free and has 30 amp service. Check the pedestal before getting too far into your set up because not all of them are powered.

Good Luck

Rick

I called in April and made an appt for early June. I was told at the time the June appointments were going really fast as the deadline for GNR was approaching. I made the appt. and work travel around it.
