I have read quite a few posts about folks having problems with their coaches and while I have posted some questions as well, I thought I would also share some very positive results as well.

We are just completing a 3,000 mile, month long trip from South Dakota to Oregon (The Rally in Redmond), Life on Wheels in Idaho, and points in between. This was our first real trip in our 2004 Meridian and we have been thrilled with its performance. The Cat 330 has run great and I have averaged about 8.5mpg with a 3,000 lb car in tow. Everything has worked great and we much prefer the coach to our fifth wheel we had before.

I have been especially pleased with the Winnebago engineering on the systems -- things seemed well designed and work well. Glad we went with the Winnebago product and appreciate all the good information on this site.

That's a great testimony for your coach (and Winnebago), not to mention good mileage! It really is a pleasant thing when you are on a long trip and the miles just click by. It is very engaging and stimulating to see the country sitting up high and in the front of the bus!

Since leaving the ranch almost three months ago, we have put about 5,000 miles on the coach and have averaged 7.6 mpg which is pretty good considering our weight. We'll probably roll another 2,000 miles before we get home.

Congratulations Rick, as John stated it is always a pleasure to have a trouble free trip.
and good gas mileage. Thats about what I got on the 39QD, I had.

Also it says a lot for the person who had the coach before you. They evidently took the time to have all the "bugs" worked out before you got it...It also speaks volumes for buying a "gently used Moho".

Continued trouble free travels and Safe Miles
