You will not reach 70 deg until the outside temps drop. About 15 deg drop is all you can expect with your air conditioner. Basement air is usually better that one roof air but not better than two roof airs. Better wall insulation and duel pane windows would also help. Make iced tea in case it gets hotter....Strip down to undies ?

Sounds like AC doing well. Grab a cocktail, beer, or whatever turn the outside misters on and sit in them while enjoying a cool beverage, put some burgers and steaks on the grill and just be happy
This is what RV'ing is all about, relaxing and realizing you have no where to go and nothing to do.
