Our 2005 Vectra developed an annoying rattle in the vicinity of the entry door that was very difficult to track down. It was intermittent, but seemed to be related to airflow in some manner, since opening the passenger side window would frequently cause it to go away! I finally figured out that it was the outer sheet metal panel on the door itself. The bottom lip of the panel had a single pop-rivet in the center and that rivet was loose, allowing the panel to move/rattle. I drilled out the old rivet and replaced it and then added one more on either side of it for good measure. Problem fixed! You should be able to see all three rivets in the attached photo.

Hi Chris. Thanks for the info on the door noise solution. I have the same problem on my 2004 40AD. I though it was caused by the wind pressure on the surface of the door since pressing the middle of the door with my hand produced the same squeaking noise. I checked the rivets. I only have one and it was loose. Drilled it out and put in a stainless steel screw. I hope it works. Thanks again.
By the way, while fixing my door I noticed that the fiberglass panel below it was loose. Turns out the metal parts holding it on are so badly rusted I can't put it back on. Another item to be fixed in Forest City next month! Keep an eye on rust under your coach. Winnebago didn't do much rustproofing on mine. If you want, I'll send you pictures of what I have repainted so far.
