The area in front of my couch (behind the driver) which is exposed or covered by the slide out is 'bubbling' for lack of a better word. When we walk across the area (size is about a 3' half circle, you can feel it 'give' under foot.

The carpet is still connected to whatever it is that is 'bubbling' so it's not carpet separation.

Looking at the subfloor in a heater vent, it appears to be some kind of metal overlayment.

Anyone experience this?

I have a "soft" spot too. We are going to replace all the carpet, etc with laminate flooring. I'll let you know what we find when we get into it.
