Forza 38R Front Dinette Creeping Down

2014 Forza 38R front dinette has a steel rod with right angles at each end. Its purpose is to keep the table top locked up when not used as a bed. 2 clamps and 4 wood screws hold the rod. Ours keeps pushing the rod back and the table drops one to two inches at this time. Have tried tightening screws without stripping them but thus far it's not working. Does anyone have a solution?

My first thought is to call the toll free Winnebago Help line at 800-537-1885. Have your serial number handy. They have been a great help to me over the years. Good luck with your problem.
