Recently aquired a 94 Winnebago 34ra. Fridge works fine on 30amp outside plug. The propane tank was empty for ????. I filled up lp tank today and cannot get the fridge to work on lp. I switched fridge to gas. The gas lite lit up and a red lite lit up for "check". The range works fine. What am I missing?
Thanks,
James

if it hasn't been run on lp in a while it could be an air pocket in the line to the fridge so i'd keep trying on and off for a while b4 i totally thing it's broke...also, could be a critter: mud dobber, spider, etc. in the tube???

BOTH of these happened in my previous motorhome...at different times of course...but i remember the frustration. Take your time and think...the systems are actually fairly logical

Easiest way to bleed the propane lines is to turn on the range burner and keep trying to get it to light. Let it burn a few minutes and try the frig 3 or 4 times. Same goes for the water heater.

Anytime yo let it set for a few days, turn off the propane at the bottles and yo will need to purge the lines again.

For some reason spiders love the smell of mercaptha (the oderant in propane)

Might save yourself some time by sticking a vac cleaner up in the burner area. Like they say it can take forever for the air to work its way out of the system.

Bob and Melissa,
Thanks. I will try running the range to clear air pocket.
Thanks,
James

When you take the back door out to expose the back of the frig, You will see a little galvenized square tubing 3to 4" square. there is a little round winbow to peek in; There is a screw that you take out and you can see the PL nozzle Take s small paint brush and brush it clean; leave it open and fire the frig. you srould see a nice bluish flame; good luck, Life is good. Take care, be care full;;
