Front Door on '04 Vectra DP???

In the past I have read posts that discuss probs with the front door, but, I don't recall any posts about my prob.
After 2 1/2 years of good operation, the door suddenly won't close as it used to. If you close it with normal pressure, the latch catches but the door is not fully closed. It still protrudes out 1/4".
You have to slam it to get the door to seat all the way in.
I've tried watching the latch when it meets the "bar" (I forgot what you call the little thing that sticks out of the door jamb) and it looks like it is lining up OK.
Anyone have any ideas?

Paul, That thing with the bolt head is a striker and it's adjustable. Try loosening it and moving it outward an eighth of an inch or until your door shuts like it used to. That latching mechanism can also be the source of an irritating squeak. Just wrap a little tape around it or get the new teflon coated striker repair kit from Winnebago.
