Well, we bought our first RV a couple weeks ago and joined this forum also. Have learned a lot and gotten some great advise. However, after purchasing an RV that had been sitting for 6+ years, we forgot one major thing before taking our trip from Ohio to Disney and the ocean. haha RV ran great and functioned great down and during the stay. However, about 500 miles from home completely lost power. Of course happened at 7 on a Saturday night, so could not find much help. But did find one shop who replaced the front fuel filter but could not replace rear filter. That was really the problem, but they did clean it up and was able to get us enough fuel flowing to get us home at an average speed of about 50 on the flat, and 20 thru Jelico mountains. Was a long 500+ miles, but made it safely. So, learned, always drain the tank and change the fuel filter when your RV has sat for a long time to keep the junk from the bottom of the tank clogging it up!
All and all, a great first trip in our new RV.

Just found out it is not an inline fuel filter by the back axle, but an inline fuel pump or pusher pump. That explains why we could not get any power alot more then just a filter issue. At least an easy fix

Glad you got that figured out. I bet you start carrying a couple of fuel filters in the future. If you have a vacuum sealer it is a great way to keep them clean until needed. If they are vacuumed sealed the DW is more likely to let you store them in the linen closet too.
Congratulations on you new coach and don't forget to log into the winnebago website and register as a second owner. Check out a WIT membership while you are there.
