Just crawled out from under my 2013 40U.
Drained the water from the fuel filter. Is is in
not a good place. Wires and cables are plastic wire tied under and
around the drain. I am not a big person , and I had to really
be careful wiggling under. Just a rant.Real P.I.A ::

the ppl that design, don't always have to fix in that area they designed, should be a requirement, then we all would see more space to work in, an this goes to auto's , motorcycles, ect..

The strange part is they installed "remote" lines to move the filters to a bracket attached to the transmission. They could, just as easily, run the lines to the rear and mount both filters on a bracket that would have been easily accessible at the back of the motorhome. Granted the bracket at the rear is a little larger and would cost a little more but I agree, getting to the current location is a real pain. I guess it is easier for a mechanic working below the motorhome in a pit or under a lift but not easy for the person trying to do their own.
