Furnace/Fantastic Fan Thermostat replacement

Anyone tried replacing the standard dial/slide manual thermostats on the furnaces, fantastic fans (FF), or heat pump with digital or digital setback thermostats?

I have one of the FF thermostats thats giving me problems. It wants to cycle intermittently between opening and closing.

When thinking about replacing it, I thought about getting a digital thermostat for the furnaces as well. All of the ones at Lowe's were for 24v, but I think the thermostats that come on the FF and furnaces are 12v.

I haven't measured the voltage yet at the thermostat (still working the inop doorbell issue); but I intend to. In the meantime, I thought I'd see if someone has done this before and see what the results were.

Call Fantastic Fan about your thermostat, I had one on a fan with rain sensor that would open and close every few minutes and at a FMCA Rally they had a modification that they installed for me at no charge.
