This topic has been around for several years - based on the serches that I have done -
Looking at replacing the furniture in the 1999 Adventurer 34V. This is the upholstered furniture - Captains Chairs, Recliner and Jack Knife Sofa. Changing from fabric to Ultraleather. The Captain's Chairs I want a little different design and the same goes for the recliner. Looking at a company listed here Discount RV Furniture - looking at the DeLeon package. Anybody on this list purchase from them? I see good reviews on another forum - but I like to ask "winnie" owners.

Thanks

Well, Michael, we just finished, again, remodeling our coach living area and used regular household furniture. Of course, if you are replacing the driver and passenger seat, those will have to come from an RV outlet, BUT, I would look for an RV salvage near by. You would be surpirsed at what you would fine at a fraction of the cost!!

The only thing that remains in our living room and dining room is the couch/bed. Everything else was replaced; entertainment center replaced with 37" LCD on wall; $800.00 Euro recliner, leather, bought from Craig's List for $100.00 in perfect condition; various new tables, lamps, etc., local furniture stores; fireplace, Home Depot; plants, Walmart; pictures, local artist and friend, etc.
Also, I am blessed that my DW is a great decorator.
Soooo, if you can afford the high end stuff, so be it, but it really helps to shop around and be thrifty.

Good luck, and, by the way, it's fun too!!

Mickey:

We're also investigating options for replacement of our two captains chairs. I talked to the folks at Discount RV Furniture but they were not entirely helpful in determining if their chairs would fit my existing 6 way power pedestal. We've also talked to Superior Seating and they have graciously sent ultraleather and leather samples. Our favorite seats are Flexsteel but they are the most expensive.

We are also going to check with a local auto upholsterer to see what the cost of rebuilding/recovering would be.

Let us know if you do get anything from Discount RV Furniture.
