Fuse disconnect for DVD player

I have a Class C Access. I am having trouble keeping the coach batteries charged. I am getting a solar suitcase and may need new batteries, but in the meantime, how do I pull the fuse for the DVD player? Thanks.

Hi. You didn't mention the year of your Winnebago Access, wiring diagrams are available online. Since you mention coach batteries, I guess it's a 12v DVD player? Look for the fuse in with the other house fuses. Water pump, refrigerator, furnace, etc. should all be in the same location. You could also search for the make/model of DVD player to find instructions about a fuse, perhaps on the back of the player.

If all that fails, you could wire a polarized male and female plug set like this into the power cord to disconnect when not needed.

Thank you! It is a 2013. I still haven't figured it out but hopefully I will. A wiring diagram is a good suggestion.

Curious...

My brother's Class C had the same problem. But he wasn't boondocking, his RV was parked in his driveway with shore power. But his starting battery was always dying on him.

I measured the voltage across the chassis battery while plugged into shore power and didn't read more than battery when it needs to be 13V or higher for long term storage of the RV.

I helped him install a 2 amp float charger, Schumacher brand, for under $20, that plugs into a 120V outlet in the overhead and we just strung the output wires semi-permanently to his under the hood battery. Problem solved.

Are you having a different problem?
