Tried to drain Gen oil, but only a VERY slight trickle came out. Had same problem last time, but not as severe. Removed drain tube (below petcock) and poked a screwdriver down tube. Mud Dauber strikes again!! Cleaned tube similar to my Colt .45 and reinstalled. Oil drained ok.

Note bottom of old filter. Damage sustained from adjustable pliers, since filter wrench slipped and would not rmv filter. I had previously used the filter wrench to "snug" the filter. Used hand torque this time. Duh!

The drain tube is about the size of a .45 cal round, so I plugged the tube with a live round (full metal jacket). I'll replace it with a spent casing when I get time.

Jest joshing about the .45 cal round. But I am looking for some sort of cork to plug the drain tube.
