Gen-turi for Sightseer 35J

I'd like to get a Gen-turi for my 35J, but I'm wondering if it will get along with the exhaust location. On the Sightseer 35J, the end of the generator exhaust is very close to the ladder and on about a 45 degree angle rather than perpendicular to the coach body.

Can anybody with a Gen-turi (and especially if you're using it with a 35J) comment on how it will mount with the odd angle and proximity to the ladder?

Thanks,
John

Works like a champ on our 2008 35J (which should be the same as yours). Looks like it was made for it. The ladder serves as an excellent attachment point. Easy install. Steve

I have a 2011 35J and the exhaust comes out on the opposite side of the ladder and it is a at a angle I see no problem with it. Wish I could find some suctions cups that would use as a upper support instead of putting hooks into the fiberglass. Does anyone no were I can get some strong suctions cups.

I see no problems. IN fact I see solutions.. The ladder makes a great place to hook the shock cords that counter the slight weight of the Gen-turi.

Question: How hot does the Gen-Turi get?
Answer: With an Onan Emerald 5500 running at about half load for 24 hours... I've taken hotter showers and baths. (not very hot) I am still able to place my hand on the black tube for many minutes.

DO NOT TOUCH THE METAL PIPE however.

If necessary,, Have a muffler shop make you a 45 degree adapter

Wyatt53- Harbor freight carries a double suction cup assembly like they use for window glass installation. Cups are aprx 4" diameter and cost about ten bucks. Have used them for a number of applications and can't fault them. Have a Kountryaire w/gelglass and sticks on it

Instead of suction cups genturi uses a small loop clip that sticks on with 3M tape and a rubber strap that fits over the 3" pipe and clips to the loops. All that you see is the 3/4"x11/2" clips when removed. The 3M can be removed if you ever wish to sell. They can be ordered at CW, not in catalog, you need to order at the store.
