I've been surfing around the site looking for info on how to get an appointment for repairs at the Winni factory in Forest City. I'll be in the area in a couple of months and would sure like to get the experts to look at one of my slides.

All you have to do is call customer service.

They may or may not have a backlog of appointments, situations vary. They normally keep some slots open and handle customers on a first come, first served basis. I was advised by them to stop in and get on the wait list because their appointments were backed up several weeks when I needed help. I signed in after noon on day one and they worked my rig in the next morning for about a four warranty repair. We stayed overnight across the street in the GNR spots, electric and water at no charge. Another time I stopped by to have a technician just look at something for me and answer a question - no work involved. They sent a tech out to the lot to look at my situation between jobs and I was on my way with virtually no delay. Excellent customer service at Forest City in my case!

I've stopped in several times and was always taken care of the next day.

I am sitting in the Factory Service waiting room right now using their free internet. I would really recommend an appointment. They are getting to the drop in as best they can. They will stop taking appointments pretty soon until after GNR.

If I'm not mistaken, the GNR website says they will not accept appointments for nearly the entire month of July due to the GNR. Nor will they do extended wty work during that time because it takes too long to authorize. I plan on making an appointment in early August.
