In an ongoing quest, sometimes frustrating, attempting to work on and understand the DHS surround system in my 2004 Winnebago Journey, I've been trying to locate and look at the MTS amplifier that is the core of the system. I've obtained wiring diagrams from the resource section of the Winnebago web pages, and also diagrams from Riverpark, the supplier of the sound surround system. Both diagrams show the MTS amplifier as being located in the rear of the left cabinet on the front driver's side of the motorhome, or to the left of the tv, when facing the tv. However, after removing the coverings in these areas, and looking in the left rear and directly behind the tv, I cannot locate the MTS amplifier. I can follow the wires from a front center speaker, and the wire for a sound suppressor,, that I believe connect directly to the amplifier which appears to me to be somewhere in the left, rear, portion of this front cabinet. But, still I cannot locate the amplifer. It may well be, located behind a small cabinet above the left driver side window. Well, anyway......so as not to confuse any reader further.....my simple question is this..........Has anyone who has a 2004 Winnebago Journey (or similar model) ever located and found the MTS amplifier? If so, please enlighten me...........Thank you!!

Tony:
How are you? haven't spoke in a while.
My Amp was/is located in the driver side arm rest compartment. If you remove the woofer you will be able to get partial access.
Let me know.
