Got a bad water leak

I have a leak in my bedroom slide when it rains. Water seems to settle on the topper and then leak onto the roof of the slide out. From there, it leaks down the side of the slide out into what I will call the "safe compartment" on the left side (near the closet) and soaks the closet floor as well at the safe compartment. I have put sealant everywhere I can see but can watch the water leaking into the "hole" everytime it rains. I wonder if the slide isn't adjusted correctly or if the seals are bad. Any suggestions???

Wiper seals should lay flat against the slide wall no folds.
Bottom of slide corner where leaking fold rubber seal back and see if there is a build up of sealent in towards the facia board to stop water from running off the bottom slide molding.
Slide should pitch to outside wall of slide so water will run away from coach sidewalls.
They also have a Awning wedge to have water run off topper.

I have the solution. First, no amount of sealant, rubber wipers or anything like that is ever going to fix it. I had the exact same problem you are talking about.

Yes, it is a permanent fix for rain and wind and will be a commercial product. I don't want to violate board rules. I have an extra 2 sets of production ready items I'll send them, no charge. I know exactly the problem and it is a mess, especially the bedroom slides in the Meridian /Journey but this works on all slides that have toppers. I can send you one too but only for the rear bedroom slide, can't give away the whole store you know.

I had a similar problem with both lounge and bedroom slides. The water apparently came down from the top of the slide BEHIND the wiper seal. I tried all kinds of things. A factory tech suggested I removed the vinyl insert along the bottom of each side and caulk the screws, then replace the insert and caulk/seal it too. I did not remove it, but did "finger" silicone caulk along both the top and bottom sides of the vinyl insert. That stopped the leaks 99% of the time.

I chased several links on this item and never did find out what the size is ...if it just fills the void at the END of the slide topper awning, it will not keep the awning from pooling water. My long galley/lounge slide does give me some problems since I replace the cloth with a good quality vinyl fabric. If water is pooled, the cloth tends to stick to the top of the slide and get sucked inside when the slide is retracted. Tighting the springs, and manually draining the water with an awning rod/etc has not totally cured the problem.

Paul if its possible with your jack system you could lower your two front jacks together to run water off toppers before closing slides.

I do that, and it helps, but most of the time that will not totally dump all the pooled water off the topper awning of a long slide when the pooled section of the fabric is resting on the slide.
